Thoughts on the new Corvette c7

Chevrolet has unveiled the 2014 Corvette Stingray and many changes have been made in its exterior and interior as well as in its engineering. Some of the most noticeable changes are the new LED headlights and LED tail lamps and its exterior vents, which have been put in place to improve the vehicles cooling and aerodynamic performance.

The interior has been completly redesigned, offering Napa leather or racing seats, genuine aluminum, and carbon fiber as an option and a hand-wrapped 360mm steering wheel. An electronic display cluster with reconfigurable gauges that provide multiple display modes and two 8" LCD screens.

To help the Stingray's perfomance a new frame has been forged making it 45 kg lighter and 57% stiffer than its predecessor. The new LTI 6.2 L V8 provides an estimated 450 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque boosting the Stingray for an impressive 0-60 in under 4 seconds. The Stingray also offers a Driver Mode selector that's controled by the turn of a dial optimizing 12 performance variables.
